This amulet is released from Wat Bot temple at Pathum Thani, District of Phitsanulok Province. It is situated in Tambon Ban Klang on the east side of the Chao Phraya River. Wat Bot temples were built in 1621 by the Mon community from Pegu, Burma, who settled here. The temple's name was borrowed from the Mon people's former home, which is similar to many other temples in Pathum Thani, such as Wat Hong and Wat Bang Tanai. Locals nowadays travel to pay their respect to three Buddha images in the shrine hall and the cast statue of the late abbot Luang Phor Thian (Phra Kru Bowon Thammakit).
This highly knowledgeable senior monk was also an advocate for education. Shakyamuni Buddha Touching the Ground is in the "Māravijaya" attitude, Thai peoples named "Pang Man Wichai Buddha." The perspective refers to him reaching enlightenment and being disturbed by Mara (Demon). The attitude of seated Buddha crossed his legs and left his hand on his lap. The right hand of the Buddha points towards the ground, whose palm is facing inward. The middle finger is seen slightly touching the ground. This Buddha statue's position is called "Calling the Earth to Witness."
It defines the moment of enlightenment for Buddha. Realizing that the Mara wanted to stop him from reaching enlightenment, he touched the ground and called the Phra Mae Thorani "an earth goddess" to help him fight with the Mara. Thorani twisted her lengthy hair, and torrents of water collected there from the innumerable donative libations of the Buddha over the ages and created a flood. The flood washed away Mara and his army, and the Buddha was freed to reach enlightenment. Behind the Buddha image is Somdej Toh or (Archan Toh), a revered Buddhist monk who lived in Thailand. He is said to have performed miracles.
The status is based on the temple compound, which, for the time being, is the most enormous Somdej Toh statue in the world. Somdej Toh was one of the most famous Buddhist monks and is the most widely known monk in Thailand. He is widely revered in Thailand as a monk who said he possessed magical powers, and his amulets are widely sought. Thai people believed that charms created in Somdej Toh's image protected against negative energy and danger, enhanced people and marriage relationships, improved health, freed and saved from evil forces, and strengthened our careers by adjusting the human aura field.
