This amulet of Phra Somdej was released by Luang Phor Pae (LP Pae) of Wat Pikulthong temple in Singburi Province. LP Pae is one of the great monks of Thailand. All his amulets are of high value and well known for their efficacy. Luang Phor Pae was born on the first of January in 1905. At the age of 8 months, Luang Phor Pae's mother died. His uncle then adopted him. At age 11, he studied a specialized language (Pali) to help interpret Buddhist texts. He studied Pali under Phra Archan Som. When LP Pae turned 14, his uncle secured him a place at Wat Chanosongkram temple in Bangkok.
LP Pae dedicates himself to practicing the Buddha's teachings. When LP Pae was 22, he was officially ordained as a Buddhist monk. Later that year, he became a teacher at Wat Chanosongkram. In 1931, the abbot of Wat Pikulthong retired from his position and requested that LP Pae take over his work. At the young age of 26, LP Pae became the abbot of Wat Pikulthong. From there, he rebuilt the temple, which was pretty old and had yet to see extensive repairs for years. In addition to rebuilding the temple, LP Pae also provided accommodation and gave poor pupils a chance at education, which was built with a significant donation by the public.
In early 1939, LP Pae created the symbol of Yant BudhSon for the amulets released from the temple of Wat Pikulthong, and after the year in 1996, he added up two more letters with an Ang and U over the Yant BudhSon for his amulets. The Yant BudhSon symbol is the only major Yant that LP Pae has used for almost all his charms since 1939. Yant BudhSon symbol is a major Yant of Somdej Phra Wannarat (Daeng) used by the 3rd Abbot of Wat Suthat. Later, his two students, Somdej Phra Sangkharaj (Pae) and Phra BaidikaKliang, also used this Yant for their amulets creation and included another two famous Guru Monks of Wat Suthat, Chao Khun Sri (Sondh) and LP Supot.
LP Pae of Wat Phikulthong was a close student of Phra BaidikaKliang, and the Yant BudhSon symbol was taught and transmitted to him by his Master. LP Pae firmly used this Yant BudhSon symbol for his amulet creation for fifty-seven years, covering all contents such as medallions, holy powder, baked clay, metal statues, and many more. LP Pae is a highly respected Somdej Phra Buddhacharn Toh (Somdej Toh) of Wat Rakhang, and all his amulets were blessed with Chinabunchorn Katha of Somdej Toh. LP Pae passed away in 1999 at the age of 94.
